Intended goalsIn this short non-credit course, six Stanford faculty members will deliver an overview of exciting and relevant technical areas essential to professionals in the IoT industry. This introductory course provides a taste of what to expect from courses that are part of the IoT Graduate Certificate program. Academic Director Olav Solgaard will give an introduction to this short course, and then you will be guided through 5 modules: Cool Applications Sensors Embedded Systems Networking Circuits
PrerequisitesThis course is designed for anyone who is interested in IoT and for those who are preparing to take courses within the Internet of Things graduate certificate program. There are no prerequisites for the short course. If a student wishes to also pursue the Internet of Things graduate certificate they must declare their intent to do so by submitting the Non-Degree Option application.
